About Our Flowers
Our season begins in June, with the lovely
blues, rosy pinks, lilacs, and clear whites of
the early lilies, larkspur, sweet william,
love-in-a-mist, corn cockle, snapdragons, and
fragrant sweet peas. By August, the cheerful
reds, yellows, and bright purples of zinnias,
feverfew, celosia, pincushion flowers,
amaranth and sunflowers color our fields.
Come September, the oranges, yellows,
chocolates and scarlets of early fall flowers
and grasses begin their show, which lasts 'til
the hard frosts of late October.
Because many of these flowers would be
damaged or destroyed by commercial,
long-distance shipping, most flowers we grow
are rarely found in formal floral arrangements.
But because Full Bloom Farm's flowers travel
only from our garden to your home, you will
enjoy their fresh, often ethereal beauty, in
your home. Furthermore, unlike the vast
majority of commercially-grown cut flowers, our
flowers are grown according to organic
principles, which means that neither you or
your family and community are exposed to
harmful chemicals.
